Why do we need the Gandhi family. Congressmen are fools. Is there no one more talented and
abler than Sonia and Rahul in the Congress Party. Why cant honest Congressmen stand up against
the onslaught of the Gandhi family, Nehru could not deal with the Chinese Aggression. Indira could
not settle the Kashmir issue once and for all after the 1971 War. but was happy to weaken the Democratic polity which some of our Opposition parties wanted. What is the contribution of Sonia and Rahul and Manmohan so far. Nothing. Good Economists dont necessarily make good Prime Ministers. Congress has ruled the Country for 63 long years and ruined the Country. They must step down and they should not take the credit for Independence. It was Indian National Congress which won us freedom and that time all Nationalists and various Political thinkers were part of the movement. Gandhi rightly wanted the Congress to be disbanded after Independence. It should not be forgotten that Indian National Congress was a movement against the British and the Congress Party which ruled for 63 long years with some gaps in between is a different proposition altogether. Some Congressmen take the credit for getting independence which is not rightfully theirs. So many Indians
toiled and gave up their everything so that the Country attain independence.
I do not know why no one is asking for the UPA Govt. to resign despite innumerable scams. Our Media both
Electronic and the Press are not good. They are one sided. Krishna Menon the first Defence Minister rightly called them the "Jute Press' as most of the newspapers were then run by Jute Barons. This included the
Ramnath Goenkas, Birlas etc. Even now they are run by big business and they want to be on the right side.
Our Media has a habit to portray only one side of the Story. Some of our acclaimed historians like
Ramchandra Guha etc also give one side of the story only. Our Press is fettering themselves. God save our
country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Subject: Re: [www.keralites.net] More and more Indians want Rahul as PM: Survey
I seriously feel that the survey was conducted inside the congress party offices. Orelse which moron of our country would suggest his name for the post of Prime Minister. He time and again has proved to be unworthy of holding any post of public interest. Having said that i dont have anything against this guy who has got a below average IQ and efficiency. Just because he belongs to the nehru family some failed congress leaders like Digvijay sing etc, sing the chorus of Rahuls PMship. Vested interest had always played its role in our politics. Rahul himself is sure that he is unworty of the post of PM and wise enough to keep away from it.

I dont understand why we Indians are still worshipping this nehru family - Rahul's father Rajiv is in the Swiss Bank Depositer's top list ! - Whose money - yours and mine - Do we still want more of our money being stolen by his next generation. Please do not get me wrong - I am not for or against any political parties - all are currupted to the core - why dont we support someone who is slightly more honest - Even I do not have a clue on it!!- Thomas--On Sun, Jun 19, 2011 at 2:27 PM, M. More and more Indians want Rahul as PM: Survey
By Indo Asian News Service | IANS – Sun, Jun 19, 2011
New Delhi, June 19 (IANS) As many as 46 percent of people believe that Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will make a better prime minister than incumbent Manmohan Singh, according to a national survey.According to a 'Mood of the Nation' poll conducted by the news website LensOnNews.com, nearly two-thirds (61 percent) of voters want a change of government in New Delhi.Only half that number (34 percent) still back the Manmohan Singh-led government to continue in office, it said.'Rahul Gandhi is clearly preferred over Manmohan Singh for the position of prime minister,' it said.'As many as 46 percent believe that Rahul Gandhi would make a better prime minister while only 34 percent think Manmohan Singh should continue.'The LensPoll was carried out among a representative sample of about 3,800 voters across India, in 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in 14 states. The poll was conducted between June 12 and 16. The findings carry a margin of error of four percent. The survey, however, said that between Rahul Gandhi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Narendra Modi, 53 percent opted for the chief minister of Gujarat. The survey said that disenchantment against the Congress-led central government was significantly higher in urban areas, among the college educated and upper castes.'It is ironical that these are the very same sections that rooted heavily for the Congress in 2009. Under the present regime, the Congress seems to have lost the goodwill of the informed public.'The choice of Rahul Gandhi as prime minister received a much higher rating among Muslims, women, farmers and labourers -- precisely the sections the Congress banks on heavily for votes.Gandhi, who turned 41 Sunday, was elected to the Lok Sabha from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh in 2009. A section of Congress leaders too has stepped up calls that he should become prime minister.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Click the link below and read very interesting comments made on this news
